Swedish summer in the Småland archipelago
The sun shines and we are heading into the wild, deep in the Småland forest near Horda, on route 27 at esker Getaryggarna. Suddenly an owl sweeps by with its soft brown wings and we become completely enchanted. What a beautiful animal!
We head down to the beach “Småland’s Hawaii” at Lake Furen and enjoying the view. It is said to be cotton grass in the forest and it is true indeed. Suddenly the whole forest is white! I run happy straight out among the white flowers in the wet bog. What a feeling! Then we head to Högakulls Nature Reserve which turns out to have a great view of the lake Rymmen.
